About the role
COTegg Vietnam builds systems for clients in Japan. As Tech Lead, you’ll guide the development team, own the architecture of our Laravel applications and make sure projects are delivered successfully.
What you’ll do
- Guide the team in best practices and ensure projects are executed successfully
- Work with cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and roadmaps
- Oversee the end-to-end development process and deliver on time and within scope
- Work with project managers to allocate resources and optimize timelines
- Lead the design and architecture of Laravel applications for scalability, performance and maintainability
- Review code and give constructive feedback
- Mentor and coach team members, identify training needs and run workshops
- Stay up to date with industry trends, drive innovation and act as the team’s PHP Laravel expert
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of PHP Laravel development
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role delivering complex projects
- Expertise in PHP and Laravel, with a strong understanding of web technologies, databases and APIs
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Front-end experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with AWS or EC-CUBE
