About the role
COTegg Vietnam builds systems for clients in Japan. As a Senior PHP Laravel Developer, you’ll lead the development of high-quality web applications, shape their architecture and help the team keep improving.
What you’ll do
- Lead development of high-quality web applications with Laravel
- Design scalable, maintainable architectures
- Review code, promote best practices and mentor junior developers
- Work with project managers to deliver on time and within scope
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical strategy and roadmaps
- Troubleshoot complex issues
- Keep up with web trends and improve development processes by introducing new tools and frameworks
- Run trainings and workshops for the team
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of PHP Laravel development
- Proven technical leadership on large-scale projects
- Expertise in PHP and Laravel, with MySQL, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs and microservices
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes or other cloud technologies
- Experience with React, Vue.js or Angular
