About the role
COTegg Vietnam develops web systems and mobile apps for clients in Japan, using Flutter, Ruby on Rails and PHP alongside AI tools. As a small team, we give engineers high ownership across architecture, implementation and process improvement.
What you’ll do
- Develop mobile applications with Flutter
- Build new features and improve existing ones
- Work with backend engineers on API integrations
- Take part in application architecture and technical decisions
- Review code and improve code quality
- Use AI tools to work more efficiently
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing workflows and development processes
- Research and introduce new technologies and tools
- Support junior engineers
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of software development experience
- 4+ years of Flutter development experience
- Experience developing and operating production applications
- Experience integrating REST APIs
- Knowledge of mobile application architecture and state management
- Experience with Git-based team development
- Able to drive design, implementation and improvements independently
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or PHP
- Experience with AWS, Docker or CI/CD
- Using AI tools in development (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Architecture and technical decision-making experience
- Experience working in small teams
