About the role
COTegg Vietnam is a small, highly collaborative team building web and mobile systems for clients in Japan with Flutter, Ruby on Rails and PHP, using modern AI-assisted workflows. Our engineers take ownership of implementation, improvement proposals and technical discussions. We value people who contribute ideas to make our products and workflows better.
What you’ll do
- Develop mobile applications with Flutter
- Build new features and improve existing ones
- Work with backend engineers on API integrations
- Take part in code reviews and quality improvements
- Raise productivity with AI-assisted workflows
- Improve development and testing workflows
- Research and learn new technologies
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Flutter development experience
- Experience developing and operating production applications
- Experience integrating REST APIs
- Experience with Git-based team development
- Able to work independently and proactively
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or PHP
- Experience with AWS, Docker or CI/CD
- Using AI tools in development (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Knowledge of mobile architecture and state management
- Experience working in small teams
- Able to communicate in English or Japanese
