About the role
COTegg Vietnam builds systems for clients in Japan. As a Junior Front-end Engineer, you’ll help build and maintain web applications with modern front-end frameworks while growing your skills with the team.
What you’ll do
- Help develop and maintain web applications with React, Nuxt, Vue or similar frameworks
- Understand customer requirements and implement features with front-end technologies
- Test your work with front-end testing frameworks to keep it stable and efficient
- Collaborate with teammates and ask for help when needed
- Take part in resolving issues and debugging front-end components
- Keep learning new front-end technologies and web trends
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years building modern, responsive, cross-browser websites with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of React, Nuxt and Vue, as well as jQuery and Bootstrap
- Knowledge of HTML5 (semantic elements, microformats)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less, Stylus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- SEO knowledge
- Experience with build tools (Grunt, Gulp, Webpack)
- Cross-browser testing experience
